Kami din! 1 year na kami kasal... My plan is , when we go to Vancouver to renew my passport, isasabay ko na lang din iparegister ang kASAL namin hehe, para isahang gastos na lang...How long have u been married?

7 months.. Paregister ko din pag nbigyan n ng visa sabay na din pachange name..

ako sa canada ako kinasal we're both pinoy.. hindi namen na register sa Philippine Consulate sa Toronto pero ok naman processing namen 4months (nadelay because sa canada ako nagpamedical and need trasfer sa manila).. tapos like you @ charmainefrances nagpass ako ng application ng asa canada pa ako pero OUTLAND ginawa ko kase dapat mag INLAND kame kaso narealize namen matagal so nag outland na lang kame ayun 5months nga..wala naman prob ata kase hanggang ngayon hindi pa din kme nakaregister sa Philippine Consulate Toronto..

Hi mrs.vip so you never register your marriage here in canada and you got your visa through spousal sponsorship? or you are still waiting for the result? So you think i don't need to worry to report it now? I have the same situation like you, i have my medicals done here in canada too and the MD said they will forward the result to CPC-M and CPC-M will transfer it to Manila VO. I got the medical done one week before we mailed the application. Thank you so much for any opinion

Hi yuomap1120. I am married to a canadian too and i have outland sponsorship in process. I haven't reported the marriage yet to the embassy here in Canada. I am not so sure what to do, should i report it? I passed my CENOMAR and annulment papers together with the application. Just wanted to make sure that if this Advisory of marriage is really necessary for the positive result of the sponsorship i am willing to do it. And if this is to be ask in the future and might as well do it. I just also want to know if there is any success story of sponsorship even though you did not report the marriage in the embassy.

(halos ag 2 years na lol) i think ok naman wala naman kase hiningi sakin na additional doc before na AOM (Advisory on Marriage) akala ko nga hihingan ako nun buti na lang ang hiningi lang sakin eh ung Marriage Certificate from Canada so wala ako prob.. sana na lang hindi ka hingan ng AOM sa manila (CENOMAR type para sa mga kasal na).. pero feeling ko hindi naman siguro ako kase ang request lang eh un nga Marriage Certificate ang pinass ko ung Long na Marriage Certificate and Photocopy ng Marriage Certificate na Short. (ung copy na meron ka na half lang)

if ever na humingi sila ng AOM gawin mo na lang uhmm ipasss mo ung marriage cert mo here then mag explain ka na lang na d mo pa napaparegister ung kasal niyo dito sa canada kase may plan kayo ikasal sa pinas kase kame siguro lang ha kaya hindi kame hiningan kase sinabi namen na ikakasal kame sa pinas which is totoo naman... pero alam ko soon dapat iregister din un eh kase sa pinas hindi ka kasal sa canada ka lang kasal kase wala sila record ng marriage mo. kase ang alam ko if ever register mo sa pinas hindi ka din agad makakakuha ng AOM kase matagal daw processing nun months daw lalo na sa ibang bansa nagpakasal kaya ayun..

you're welcome balitaan mo na lang ako/kme kung ano additional doc mo hoping na wala ng AOM pero if ever mag ask idaan mo na lang sa letter or explanation basta tell them na matagal ung pag register aabutin k ng months maiintindihan naman nila un and sana hindi sila mag request ng NBI clearance hehe may topak sila minsan na hihingin un eh kase pag ganun mahirapan ka kumuha kase asa canada ka.

Hello!! I just reported our marriage sa consulate in Toronto. What will happen next? Can I change my last name to my husband's name? The thing is I just renewed my passport this month because I thought I can change my last name already but the consulate said wait for 5 months before I can renew my passport with my husband's last name because they need the paper from PSA (formerly NSO). My work permit will expire this November and I am planning to submit the spousal application inland by July. Is it going to be a problem if I won't change my last name muna?
