I am planning to open a profile on Express Entry in March, however I am planning to get in July.

My question is should I open the profile as a married couple or single??

Do i need to provide any proof in the first stage (before invitation to apply) of my relationship status?

What happens if i recieve the invitation to apply after i get married?

Thanks

You need to create your profile as single. When your status changes you need to update your profile and keep it current.

Proof funds needs to be shown after ITA, but the money should in the bank account for around 6 months.

Under which program do you expect to qualify - do you have foreign work experience only, or Canadian work experience?

Single. The exception is if you have already been living together for one year - in Canada that is considered a Common-law relationship, similar to marriage.

No.

You need to update your profile as soon as your marital status changes.

If you get married after you apply, you must notify IRCC immediately and request instructions on how to add your spouse to your application.

Hi Jeson thank you for your answers.

I am planning to apply under Federal skilled worker program. I have only foreign work experience.

What happens if i receive an ITA (invitation to apply) as single? Do i HAVE to apply as single or can I update my profile even after i have received an ITA? If yes, does that change my CRS Points? What is the procedure

Thanks

You'll have to update your profile and your points will get recalculated UNLESS you state that he/she will not accompany you to Canada but in that case he/she will not get PR.

Thank you DelPiero.

Is it possible to update the profile after recieving an ITA?

What happens if I get married after I have accepted the ITA and submite my documents (as single) . Is there a way except sponsorship to bring my wife with me?

You can update your profile after receiving ITA. However your score will change because you will have to include your spouse's documents to contribute to your CRS score. There is a different calculation for applicants with spouse and you might be needing her documents (ECA, language test score, etc) for her to contribute to your CRS score.

I received LOA yesterday i.e. on 14-Feb-2017. I have two questions as below:

1. The NOC I selected closed to my occupation and experience in my MPNP Application is 2173 (i.e. Software Designer). But, in LOA it is mentioned as 2172 (i.e. Database Analysts and Data Administrators). Despite both these NOC are different, what should I mention as Intended Occupation while filling the Generic Application Form [IMM 0008]?

2. My wife is 2 months pregnant. Where and How should I inform about it?
