It's not just because that you are getting married the 2nd time you met is an immigration issue. Other memebers already pointed out that it's amount of time (or lack of) you spent with your spouse that's more of an issue.

You can get married, then have longer visits and have more visits after your got married. Then when you have a solid relationship, apply.
You can even move to your spouse's country and live there for as long their immigration policy will allow.
That wouldn't be an issue in a perfect world but I have a job and a house and mortgage payments/responsibilities. I actually get a generous amount of vacation time already (4 weeks per year) and so the practical side of things doesn't allow for extended periods away from my home country. I need a job in order to "support" my wife and daughter and therefore, I can't just pick up and leave. I will consider leaving Canada if I am denied but not until then as our life is going to be better here.
