Hi there, asking for a friend.

My friends are married in the Philippines but got divorce in Canada. I want to ask if the guy can sponsor his second wife in Canada even if they (him&1st wife)are not annulled in the Philippines? Also the second wife came to Canada as tourist to working visa and they remarried in Canada. Is that valid to sponsor her to become PR? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. They are remarried first in 2023 before he became canadian citizen this year. The application was submitted 2023 too. Is the date complicated or it doesn’t matter? Thanks again
