dont be in a hurry to send ur application. gather all the proof u can concerning ur marriage-relationship. also some people say that too much of proof is a bit suspicious but still u need to prove it to immigration that ur marriage is real. think like that: how to prove that u two didnt marry just to get to canada. thats what they looking for. fake marriages and relationships. anybody can marry, make photos together. but it doesnt mean its real and sincere.
theres some examples what people put into application as proof:
Marriage certificate (COPY)
A few cards from family/friends for our wedding
Wedding photos
Receipt of purchase of wedding rings
A printout of our wedding gift registry
A printout of a joint bank account statement
A printout from my retirement account showing that he's the beneficiary
Copies of leases from 3 apartments we've lived in together (showing us both on the lease)
Wedding photos, with just us and also with various family members, and also photos of the ceremony itself and reception
Photos of us together on various trips, including trips to visit each of our families together and photos of us at my sister's wedding, and photos from a trip where both of our families got together for a holiday before we were married
Photo of my engagement ring (an heirloom from his family)
Printout of about 150 emails between us (mostly saying mundane things like "can you pick up milk on your way home" or "what do you want to do this weekend?". But also discussing visits to see each other while we were long-distance
Also, we have both described all the details of our meeting and how our relationship developed in attachments to the forms where that is asked."
"I found this on this forum but dunno were

U asked if u need to send proof of common law relationship which they ask on check list. the thing is that u ARE married, so u applying as married not common law, so u cant TICK those fields which concern common law. BUT it doesnt mean u cant send joint bank account proof or lease etc. if u have those, u can send.
browse more this forum for supporting documents and proof. good luck!
