marriage to an italian apllying to canadian university

Hello guys, I hope to be in the right place to get some informations. I am an italian girl and my boyfriend has both canadian and italian citizenship. We're gonna be married next winter and then we will go together to toronto where he works. I would like to apply for a graduate program for 2015-2016 academic year and i would like to know if i would be considered as a domestic student or an international student after starting application for the PR card.

You would be considered international. You are only considered a resident once you have your PR card.

So If I start my application when i dont have the PR card yet, I would be considered interantione without chances to change my status later?

I imagine you could change your status once you have your PR card (or COPR), but you would have to speak to the university to see how/if they can do it.
