MARRIAGE REGISTRATION - NEW DELHI/INDIA

Dear friends,

Can someone share his/her experience of "Marriage Registration" in Delhi? How to go about it? How much time does it it take? Is there a way to expedite it? I heard there is "Tatkal" service too. Has any one availed it?

yes it is mandatory to submit the marriage certificate along with your application....

here is the link for delhi govt portal with info on marriage certificate

the procedure is similar all over india. they will allow you to register only after the marriage date. you need to provide proof of residence along with marriage inivitation and photos etc.
