As long as you have formal proof that you were legally married, it probably doesn't matter that no photos were taken at the actual marriage. I think that what they want to see is that it wasn't some "secret" marriage that nobody was supposed to know about, for "convenience". The reception pictures will show that lots of people were aware and celebrated it with you.

Hi Amjad

Don't worry, there is no requirement that you should have a photo of signing the contract of your marriage, other photos of the reception will be sufficient plus any other photos that show your pre-marriage relationship, or post marriage as well such as a honey moon or any other trips or events

For nationals of Pakistan:
• Approximately 15 to 20 printed photographs of you and your sponsor with relatives and friends.
Photos submitted should be comprised by the wedding ceremony (signing of the contract or
Nikkah) and customary celebrations held afterwards (the wedding reception or the Rukhsati in Urdu). Photos should also include pictures taken of you and your sponsor together on other occasions, for example, either before and/or after the wedding.

OK, so you do not have what the Pakistani visa office wants, so you will have to attach an explanation of why you do not have these photos, and why you did not have the traditional Pakistani wedding they expect. Is your wife a Canadian of Pakistani origin? If she is not of Pakistani origin, then your explanation of why you did not have the traditional celebrations will be easier.
Send in a lot of proof that you two are living together in South Korea, if you didn't already.

that's true but he's applying through the South Korean embassy; maybe those are not that strict ::) i'm not even sure if he should follow the Middle East region checklist or the Asian one for South Korea or both ::)
