How do you know that he can never sponsor his son? What if our divorce is granted..he's free to sponsor anyone. You can take comfort that he can never sponsor his son to Canada.

He cannot sponsor his son because he failed to declare him in his application. How do you know that he can never sponsor his son? What if our divorce is granted..he's free to sponsor anyone.
Good idea .;dont leave monies in any JOINT accountsIf I were you I’d just collect money anyway I can and hire a lawyer to do it. It’s a long term battle but worth it.
SHe said SON was NOT declaredHow do you know that he can never sponsor his son? What if our divorce is granted..he's free to sponsor anyone.
Yah..he didn't declared his son to immigration. He didn't tell me that he has a son in Philippines. Maybe he's afraid to tell me because if I know if he has a son there I'm not bringing him here.SHe said SON was NOT declared
Isn't this a known risk that anyone deciding to marry someone from another country and sponsoring them should be aware of prior to sending an application? It is difficult for the OP to move on when she is still on the hook financially if her husband went on welfare during the undertaking period.
He's my boyfriend since 2008 and we're living together in the same house until 2011. But still he cheated me and used me just to get here.Isn't this a known risk that anyone deciding to marry someone from another country and sponsoring them should be aware of prior to sending an application?
Yea we know but LOVE is blindIsn't this a known risk that anyone deciding to marry someone from another country and sponsoring them should be aware of prior to sending an application?
Yes I did..I report him to immigration last year and then I sent all the proof and evidence that he has a son in Philippines. How can I move on if he didn't stop to accused me. Eventhough he's the one who get in trouble. I did everything to him. I supported him financially since 2008 till 2017. And now I have a lots of credits because of him. Because I sponsored him.If I were you, I would report and then move on. And learn from this experience to find your love locally rather than finding someone in another country and sponsoring him.
Rather should increase that old condition to 5 yearsShame they cancelled Condition 51, isn't it. This scenario is exactly what it was supposed to prevent/mitigate.
It is a known FACT that the person you sponsor will become your worst enemy, NOT saying all spouses but I have seen it in other relatives being helped or sponsored , they will sure stop talking after few months/years.. This is what my and my most friends experience is, yours may differ.Yes I did..I report him to immigration last year and then I sent all the proof and evidence that he has a son in Philippines. Not only does he cannot sponsor his son for rest of his life, he cannot as a landed PR spouse sponsor any other spouse/common law himself until 5 years after he landed as PR. Another 3 years 5 months to go before he can legally sponsor any spouse for PR.Really because I have no idea. He filed the divorce because he wants to bring his another woman and son here. And he said he wants to remarry soon.
