I'm so sorry that happened to you. After the decision is made on PR application, it is normal for ecas to go 'inactive' because the file is closed. My understanding is, ecas does not become active again unless there is a new application or CIC re-opens a file (which may explain why ecas is active again). I don't know for sure and do not want to give you false hope. When you click on "decision made" what does it say?

If you know where he lives (address) provide to CIC/CBSA and try to move on with your life. Take care of yourself, seek support if needed and continue following your dreams. Leave him to God and karma.

No he is living here with all the rights, he is not running from CIC at all. He lives more normal life than I do after ruining my life. I have been trying so hard to live a normal life from last two years but there is not one day when what he did to me doesnt cross my mind. All I wanted an expected from our Immigration System is JUSTICE.
But no evil wins alwaysssss,,,,... these rules are just piece of paper. So many times I emailed local MP, Immigration Minister but nothing.
I think he is cleared of his case now because I can actually he his application status active now ( it went inactive last year). When i login with my UCI number, I see his name and his status as decision made ( like i used to see when he landed)

My husband played an immigration fraud on me and left me within 3 weeks of landing in Canada. After he fled away I immediately informed CIC. He was deported within 6 months.
I am posting this information for the people who are suffering because of fraudsters.

thanks, I sent a letter a month ago and haven't heard back yet. Do you know how long does it normally take for CBSA/CIC to reply?

I don't know how long it takes. Did you also send the email to CBSA (border services)? You can also call them to check if they received it or go to your member of parliament for help.

Hi.. Me and wife both applied together for canadian pr while living in india. After 2 year we got visa and we were happy. When i near to book plane tickets my wife denied to accompany with me jus stating that she has some job related work and will join me after 1 month. I booked single ticket and reached here canada. But now i come to know about her affair with some one else. Moreover she has changed her number too.she is straight forwading saying that she is not intersted in me any more . She jus got marry with me to get pr as i am the main applicant. Am very upset because i took loan from the bank to apply case and thought we both will do hard work and return the bank money timely but i never thought that the strom of problems coming near to me. Anyway my question is any way to teach her? As she will must dump me after reaching here and will get marry with her bf.
