I actually agree with this. He can apply to come in as a visitor while you wait for the application to be processed. The only issue is that he cannot work on a visitor's visa, which could put a strain on your finances, especially with you being pregnant.

No they live in the UK and we were told they cannot do an upfront medical so we are waiting. I was think of a TRV but I didn’t want to complicate his application
I got a email with all the documents I needed to send they even created a space in my portal for the documents
Funny thing, I just got a mail from IRCC acknowledging receipt of the marriage certificate.

I was reading through the email, and the last part (the third point under "useful tips") makes me a bit uncomfortable. Although it says, "It may be impossible," there's still a chance that it might be possible.
Does anyone have any additional thoughts on this to help ease my concerns?
What about the lady? I mean does the main applicant get the PPR at the same time as the spouse? Or can the main applicant get it earlier?
Main applicant and spouse would get it at the same time.
I and my spouse just got our passport request mail yesterday.

If you want to marry someone, might as well do it before you become a PR. The only way that's left after that is to sponsor your spouse, which could take longer. Check all threads in the forum of people who added their spouse after sending an application in response to an ITA for timelines.

Actually this part answered my own question in my application.
In my initial application my wife is Non accompanying living in canada with me. Recently i got email asking to pay PR fees for my sposue. When i called ircc they said my wife is showing as accompanying and they even passed eligibility and background for both of us and waiting for the fees. I also got same confirmation via email, so I paid the fees on September 27 and waiting.
I was thinking this is uncommon. But the above quoted message from your IRCC email clairifies me that my scenario is possible.
But I never requested to accompany my wife since it will lower my CRS score below cutoff.
