Marriage after sending application as a single skilled worker

Hi friends ;

I am going to send application forms & documents as
a single skilled worker immigrant to Sydney, Canada .

But I may marry in near future and my question is that
is it possible to change my application status as a single
applicant to a married applicant benefiting from possible
spouse points in overall immigration assessment, in a later
stage of application process ?

It is possible but as i have known and read from past seniors, we would suggest u include yr girlfriend now as as yr common law spouse if u guys are staying together already. This would prevent any "cheating" detected by the immigration officer later after u have applied and changed yr status as married.

Mate the concept of girlfriend (or extra marital relationships) doesnt exist in many cultures so please take that into account when responding to such queries.

Karim, it shouldnt be a problem. You can have your PR processed now and can sponsor your future wife later on from Canada. Also in case you have to be outside Canada to get married and want to take your partner with you, then you can get a visit visa for her through the closest Canadian High Commission and then apply for the PR once she gets there. I applied from london office when i was single. My PR visa was issued on february 2009 as a single person. I made a mistake by not informing CHC that i travelled to nigeria for my wedding in december 2008! The PR visa came with a letter informing me that my PR visa was invalide if my status has changed! I quickly e-mailed CHC regarding my marital status, they replied me the following day by sending a letter asking me to return the PR visa for cancellation, they also asked for my wedding certificate, wife's documents and processing fee. It took another 5months to re-issue new visas for BOTH OF US (I and my wife).
To answer your question according to my personal experience, if you are not ready for marriage, send your documents as a single person. Immediately inform CHC as soon as your status changes, you can do so by e-mail or letter. You need to wait for their response, all they will do is ask you for your marriage certificate and some documents for your wife including her processing fee.
If there is a change in your personal circumstances during the application process(i.e address, family composition, birth, death, health e.t.c), you must report any changes to CHC. Even if your PR visa has been issued but you have not landed, you must report the changes. This is to avoid any kind of misrepresentation.

-Sent application [skilled worker] back in 2007 as single
-will get married by 2010.. if I change marital status within the processing time, inform visa office of this change, can my husband be part of the application? Will the processing time go back to 0 months as I'll be adding my husband to my application?

I applied for PR in canada as single since 2010 and they send me letter regarding medical August 2014, Fortunately, I got married since last month. What should I do to include my husband on my application? Should I notify them about my new status (married) whom I notify? Thanks.

Not only should you notify them, you MUST notify them of a change in family composition. When you do, they will tell you what additional forms and information you must supply. It will be the standard things such as his birth certificate, marriage certificate, his passport copy, his PCCs, etc.

It sounds like you have been waiting a long time for PR. Unfortunately, because you need to add your husband and he has to undergo the same background checks and so on, this is going to delay your application further. But you have no choice.
