Marriage after getting PR Card

Hi guys,
Can a new Permanent Resident get married immediately after getting PR Card if their partner (a student) is in Canada as well? Do they have to notify CIC about the change in marital status? Please help!

I got Copr and will land in September... if i get back to my home country and marry and come back to Canada can i immediately apply for spouse pr? or need to wait 6 months? will it causes any issues to apply as I would apply within one year after receiving PR status? can i apply for spouse via spousal visa request or add spouse application via Express Entry..
