Hi PMM/other experts,

I want to apply as a skilled worker. I am still unmarried. But i dont wanna wait until i get married. So, I wanna apply in SAP(simplified Application Process) right now from Bangladesh. My question is whether I can include my spouse education points in my application if i get married in the next two years. If yes then shall i be able to move to CANADA along with my spouse???

Pls. clarify me the procedure.

Regards

Immigration Canada is changing the skilled worker system. All applications since February 27 2008 are being processed under the new rules. The new rules have not been published yet but they have said they will announce 38 professions that qualify for skilled worker. If you are not in one of the 38, you have to apply another way, for example by temporary work permit and provincial nominee program. The list of 38 is supposed to be published in November. You should wait for that.

Nobody knows exactly what the new rules for this program will be. We are all waiting for this to be clarified, probably by November some time. Another way for you to come in would be to look for jobs, get a job offer and work permit and come as a temporary worker. It will be faster for you to get to Canada and you can get your permanent residency later through a provincial nominee program.
