marital status update

hi, im a foreign worker under the Live-in Caregiver Program. I got my W1 visa (Single entry) on January 8, 2011 and got married on january 13, 2011 and arrived in Canada on February 3, 2011... Since then i am meaning to update my marital status but i don't have any idea how... i tried asking other people/friends here in Canada on how to update my marital status but no one of my friends seem to know how.

i've been searching in the CIC for the forms to submit for marital status update but i found none that i think is useful for my case...

i'm going on a vacation this coming December and i need to apply for a new W1/TRV in order to be able to enter Canada and resume my work. Should i go ahead and apply for a new TRV, update my marital status in the TRV application form and attached a copy of my marriage certificate?

Will it affect my PR application later on?

anyone, PLEASE shed some light on my case. thank you.

Hi there!
since you are going back home for a vacation, well yes go ahead!
update your civil status upon renewing your TRV, and do it as well on your PR application..
what the Canadian government asks from us are truthful and accurate information.
and yeah, attach a copy of your marriage certificate as well.
