Yes I have a lawyer .... I am not having divorce certificate now ... I will get in November.... at present I only have legal separation agreement.... have you already got ITA .

Y you don't know when you r getting divorce certificate... where have you applied divorce .... are you in Ontario or India .

I have submitted my application. I put my divorce application in India that is why i am not sure.

Apply divorce in Ontario if you have stayed for one year... use separation from one year as ground .... you will get in 3 months ... in India it will take lot of time at least 6 months .

In post ITA PR form only spouse name and him DOB was asked .... Did not they asked you his passport number etc after you put legally separated.

But my marriage took place in India. And my ex spouse is in India. Is there any way that I can apply my divorce in Canada. And they are not going to ask you passport number of your ex spouse.

My situation is same .... yes you can apply if you stayed in Canada for one year ... no need of spouse signature... if you are separated for a year it means your marriage is broken ... you can get divorce in Ontario but condition is your stay of one year here ...

Have your one year period complete.... it does not matter where marriage took placed ... My lawyer filed my case ... u can do it yourself but it's better to be done by some lawyer ... donot wait for India divorce ... apply in Ontario
