Marital Status Change

Hi Everyone. I really hope i can get some help with one question that I have, I applied under refuge program, my case was already accepted and I am going to send my PR application soon, My question is, I got married in my country and I filled up all my documents as a married person, we broke up some time ago and I met someone else here in Canada who i do want to to get marry with and include her in my PR application, How can i do it ?? do i have to inform immigration about this before sending my application or what ???

You have to get legally divorced before you can remarry.

Hi there, Thank you for replying, in my country Mexico, we just did a religious ceremony. it was not like the legal marriage thing, there is not a legal paper to certify our "marriage". do i have to explain that in a letter ??
