Pls I wanna know what to do when applying for my citizenship in the nearest future. I came into Canada as a refugee and I got accepted as a protected person. During the period of my waiting for my pr card I got married to a Canadian citizen and had a baby afterwards. I tried informing CIC about this but it proof abortive due to the number of people they are attending too and I'm not too sure if I made mention of it during one of my numerous call to them but I made everything known while filing my tax and also declared it when I renewed my expired work permit before I got approved for PR. When I got my CoPR my marital status remain unchanged (single) and when I went for my landing I didn't bother saying it. I have baby number 2 now and already have her passport as a citizen. I just wanna ask if this will have any implications on my CItizenship application and what I should because I will be applying for it next year.... Kindly advice. Thanks

You should consult an immigration lawyer for an opinion. You said you married a Canadian citizen but tried to inform IRCC about your status change when you applied for a PR, but, failed to do so, did you try raising a web form for change of status or did you ever wrote to IRCC about your change in status?

I did even know about anything called web form not as you say it now. I did not write IRCC yet and I don't know if it is late to do that now because I got my PR Card in January of 2018. I will be expecting more reply. Thanks for your reply
