Proof of relationship after submitting e-APR
Hi, everybody!
I would appreciate if somebody could share their experience. I submitted my e-APR on Jan 31 being unmarried. I understand that if I get married now and notify CIC about changes in marital status, I will have a chance to add my spouse to the application without my score being recalculated. What is still not clear for me that except of all the documents mentioned on the forum, do I still need to submit proof of relationship including all the photos and evidence illustrating our relationship? Or proof of relationship is requested only after receiving PPR? In my case, the final decision is far from being made, so do they need to check proof of relationship anyway? Why I am asking this is because I have declared in my e-APR that have never been in common-in-law relationship before which is true. Then let's say I get married unexpectedly and declare changes in status. We have had a two-year dating history in Dubai since we came here together but we never got married. It is forbidden to cohabit together without being married. Plus, we do not have a lot of photos showing intimate relationship. It is not allowed to kiss each other or hold each other's hands in public in the UAE. Other than that, if we get married we can not have a reception with many people and relatives because we are living in foreign country. We do not have any photos showing us together with more than two people. Will all these circumstances raise doubts of visa officers how genuine our relationships are? Will it jeopardize my own PR application because they may refuse based on deciding that our relationship is non-genuine? Please, share your experience!
