Hello guys, I am filling in 5710e form, I am living with my partner for 7 months by now (he is Canadian), what should I put as my marital status? Single or Common-Law? (I just read that common law in considered only if you have been living together for a year). Please help, don't want to make any mistakes...

You've answered your own question. Common-law requires a year of cohabitation and you don't have that, so you aren't common-law.
