MARCH TRV APPLICANTS

My friend applied on 11th march 2025 from Pakistan. One refusal before in 2019 and so bio was valid and didnot gave biomatrics again .Average TRV Processing time for pakistan is now 17 days . Its 11th day review has not been started yet.
It’s still within the normal processing timeline, so nothing to worry about yet. Even though the average TRV processing time for Pakistan is currently 17 days, it's not unusual for some applications to take a bit longer or for review to start closer to the end of that window. Since it's only the 11th day, I’d suggest waiting a few more days. Background checks and internal queues can sometimes delay the start of the review. Hopefully, you’ll see movement soon

my fiamly friends visa was refused yesterday due to reasons below.
• You have significant family ties in Canada.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

i will ask her to apply again with answering to these points

You should definitely reapply and make sure to include these points clearly:

  • Your visit is short-term (less than 10 days)
  • You have strong home ties: spouse, children, parents, and siblings
  • You run a well-established business that needs your presence
  • You fully intend to return after the visit

Order GCMS notes.
Family ties - explain that her spouse and children under 22 are staying in home country. If she is single then chances of approval are low because no ties to return.
Job - include approved leave as well as outline that she is a long term employee
Business/income property - show registeration, leases etc.

Hi, my mother already has got her TRV visa and is scheduled to land on 2nd april and her return ticket is already booked for 29th September

Her total stay is 181 days including both dates mentioned above

I wanted to check what is the maximum stay period allowed? The official website says 6 months . If she lands on 2nd April , her 6 months will complete on 1st October. Is this travel itinerary compliant with the visitor rules? I think it is but want to know from experts

Thanks in advance

She will know how long she can stay when she enters. CBSA determines it. If her passport isn’t stamped then she can stay up to 6 months.

If it's 6 months, is the above travel itinerary compliant? 2nd April to 29th September. Just want to make sure it's not 180 days but simple 6 months.
