Hello... Sumitsra any update so far??? Many March applicants getting ppr ... Two of my March friends got ppr last week they had the same timeline like us with dependents....

No no update yet. Last update was in september online status changed to in process.
I called to CIC last week, agent said my file looks ok but still in sydney. I don't really know what is happening, how they are working on our files. It just a stress untill ppr request...

Its kinda hard to swallow when you see Aug, Sept, and even Nov 2014 applicants getting DM & PPR while Jan, Feb, March and April applicants don't even know when their cases will be decided :-[

Hi guys! I am January 2014 applicant inprocess since September. I phoned CIC yesterday hoping they will help me to speed up my application since I already completed the 16 months processing time. But the agent didn't even bother to look on my file. He told me to wait for another 3 more months and if nothing happens call them again.
So frustrating

I had a question regarding Work Permits. How long before the work permit expires should we get it extened. I have a closed work permit, it is valid till December 2015. Just wondering when I should get it extended. Please help! All you're help will be greatly appreciated.

Mate you can apply anytime before you have just 4 months left on your work permit. In your case you can apply anytime September onwards

You need to renew your work permit when it is at least 4 months to expiration.

Wow! I feel you...Its very rarely you can encounter a real nice call ctr agent. When you talk to them, they all sound very irritated. I called also yesterday and the agent who i spoke with is in a hurry to hang up the phone. smh

You are free to call CIC as much as you want but calling them frequently really makes no sense because they end up spoiling your day with answers that are depressing especially when you are unfortunate to meet the unmannered ones.

Thankyou so much for your reply i agreed with you but it is also depressing to just wait & wait & wait & wait. I know there is nothing else we can do but still m getting mad & mad to see that some of november applicants start getting their pr already and so many march and april applicants still waiting on the other hand.
