Hi! no...my medical will.expire on May
Same for me n my spouse. Our medical will expire on may but they requested another medical for my spouse in india on this march 12. They said i dont need to re-do medical as they have requested medical reassesment for me. We have no idea why they have requested second medical for my spouse even if the first medical is not yet expired?

Thats funny! Why cic keep asking people to re-do medical even if the first medical is not yet expired

Just called CIC, asked them why they were requesting for another medical for my daughter and not for me and my husband's whose medical will be expiring sooner than my daughter. They said that all they wanted right now is her medical and we should pass it within30 days. And that processing time is 17 months. So now im expecting my PR before christmas then. All my colleagues got their PRs in less than 12 months. This month will be my 12th month ( 1yr) ...feeling so #$!#$ frustrated

alot of Money, time, patience (and understanding them) is all what it takes huh.....

Well Tinacraigg, It's frustrating when one is waiting for PPR and get further documents request. The worst thing is CIC is not keeping the process transparent, we don't know what is going on in their office? We send documents and then wait and wait and wait. Whenever they want, they will review the documents and will say oh! applicant has to send this document, and this loop continues.

If there was information sharing with applicants on routine basis, then we wouldn't be this stressed. Just feeling fed up!

Hi, all...

I feel like saying that I got my PPR, and then say APRIL FOOL... But then I feel, its like JALE PE NAMAK DAALNA. Aapke aur khud ke... LoL...

Let's wait...

So sad on that!!!
Exactly the same thnk they did on me on my 11th month with a double request of pcc!! Now im 16 and still waiting. Provided every document they requested in 2 weeks. On all those dependant medical request (even before 2 months of expiry) we all know what they meant. Just dont thnk about it guys keep moving. How they process application is just random pick. There is no queueing. May 16 2014 applicant with dependant got PPR yestrday. Who was my friend and his status till now is "APPLICATION RECEIEVED". Who was the one lucky guy who dnt hav not even a single doc request. For cic its Rare.

So by today,
Almost all of my friends got PPR...

DAMN FRUSTRATED...!!!

Hi tinacraigg,
Hopefully you're getting closer, otherwise they wouldn't ask for your dependents' updated medicals.
By the way, is your daughther in Canada or abroad?

Hi! thanks for the boost :) ....No she is not here or my husband... I have a feeling i will get it but i just needed to be patient. Whats making me sad is that all my colleagues got their PR with ease including their families. And I have seen alot in this forum who got their PR in less than a year :(
