from IP to PPR. but im confused they didnt attach any bio data form. and they only ask for my passport and copy of the email. do i need to include 2 photos coz in french translated email they indicated a photo size... so now i dont know if i need a bio data form and photos. but i might include the photos for sure

I emailed CIC January 2nd asking to confirm they had received my additional documents I sent in July 2014 and they just responded today saying my file was in a queue waiting to be reviewed by an agent.

Was hoping to have good news by next month as that will be 1 year they have had my file and currently still on AR. (March 17)
Still trying to be positive and trying not to let it get me down.

Congratulations to everyone else's progress, let's hope that the rest of us hear good news soon too ;D

You are not alone. I called CIC just make sure they received my additional requested documents. They told me that they are only aware of sending the docs request on January 30, but they do not have any information on receipt of the documents. Said it takes a few weeks to few months to get the updated documents reviewed by an officer. My file is currently on AR (April 22). Don't lose hope. People get good news when they least expect it. I am sure there are a lot of others who are on the same boat as you and me. We will all get there in due time.

No it is normal, and do not need to add your photo or bio data.

It depends on VO. They didn't ask bio data or photo from me.

Hey,
I sent the email to:

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

but just keep in mind it took them 2 months to reply to me...
I also called a couple of weeks ago and they wouldn't tell me anything, I guess because my application is not even in process yet.
I am very interested to know though why some people that applied in April 2014 have got DM and I'm still in the pile of paperwork not even looked at yet. hmmm maybe my case working needs a kick up the bum haha

Does any of you here applied a work permit at the border? My work permit extension just got refused. I'm thinking of applying again but this time will be at the border. Do I have to be from visa exempt country if I will apply a work permit at the border? My work visa still valid up to April 30, 2015.
