Ya... We r still waiting for ip and dm application received on march 31 2014 still status shows medical received
Additional document request on oct 2 and submited on oct 5 but still no updated in file ...
I dont know whats going on its complete 11 months but still waiting for IP...

I am on same timeline no ip or dm yet application recieved on march 31 2014 my status is samw medical recieved..i dont know why its tking so long..

just police certificate for myself and my wife. but it took almost 2 month for my wife to get her certificate ship to Canada so the application was delayed...

That's only a few weeks ago. :-X
I paid my RPRF last May 2014 and my status is still "application received" so you have a very long wait ahead of you I'm afraid.

there are people who submitted their app around the same time as me and already have IP.

I landed at Rainbow Bridge, Niagara on Saturday 28th Feb. ;D

It was busy day and I have to wait around 2.5 hours. :

I guess fort Erie (peace bridge) might be less busy than Rainbow bridge. If you planing to land on Rainbow bridge, please consider other options.

Congrats! For the 2.5 hours wait time, were you stuck in your car or stuck at the desk?
I heard walking might be faster.. Not sure if that's true or not. Needs proof

Hello,

I landed at the Carway border in Alberta, 3.5 hr drive from Calgary. We went to the US Border and they asked why we were here, and we told to land as Permanent Residents. The officer asked to park the car and come in side. Then they handed us an entry refused docuement and said that it wont be recorded and wont affect your future travels, and then told us to make a U-turn and go to Canadian border. The officer at Canadian border asked why we didn't make an appointment at Calgary. We replied that the available dates were too far in March, so he asked to park the car and come inside with the docs. We went in and handed the CoPR, work permit, old expired work permit, expired study permit. they told us to sit, and called back in 10 mins, made us sign the CoPR. DONE! PERMANENT RESIDENTS!

Did you just get the request or was it sent some time during the day ? I cant stop checking my emails, Its been a month since a decision has been made. No news from CIC. Everytime I call,they say its look good, no issues but wait. They cannot escalate as its still within the 17 months of processing time.

No idea what to do.

Dec 9 applicant finally got IP on feb 26.

I gues it depends on what your qualifications and skills are. They seem be be processing this way rather than
in the order the applications were received.
