Good luck & keep posted

Nothing yet,
RPRF requested with Medical, Done
Waiting for IP, keep posted,

How should we consider our timeline for the file to be in process, from the day application received or from the day medical received

Good Question..!!

As we have filed our applications from with in the Canada, see belowe info

IN PROCESS
(A decision has not been made yet.)

Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application and will review it in order of receipt. We will send you an acknowledgement letter.

Documentation Verified by CIC
We are reviewing your application to make sure it is complete and that no documents are missing. We will return incomplete applications for resubmission.

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

This is as per CIC standards,
But

as far as my knowledge is concern about "in Process" status, as long as your files are NS, Sydney, it will not show in process, once they sand our files to Ottava (which means files passed initial checking, medical is okay, all docs are okay), the file status will change to "IN PROCESS"

Thanx a lot for your reply. It means we can count the number of months or days from the day application received correct me if i am wrong. Because i came to know that it takes 6-7 months to get in process but not sure from when to count 6-7 months, the day app received or day medical received

That is correct..!!! count start from day your file received at Sydney, NS. But, it is totaly depends on how many files they are processing for that particular time period right?, In our case we should start expecting some from Sept-2014, but again each application processed differently as per their category so cannot predict but wait and watch only,

Crazy! my timeline is almost the same as yours!
as of July 29 2014, this is my timeline:

10/29/2013 Sent application to AINP
1/24/2014 I get the nomination from AINP
3/12/2014 I sent the application to Syndney
3/18/2014 Application Received by CIC
4/16/2014 AOR Medical requested
5/9/2014 Medical done
5/30/2014 RPRF requested
5/30/2014 Police certificate requested (PCC)
6/18/2014 I get married
7/08/2014 PCC, RPRF, and spouse application(added as dependent) sent to visa office
7/18/2014 Spouse application received at visa office
7/24/2014 Medical request for wife
8/12/2014 Spouse's medical appointment

Good,
The only difference is, I did my wife's application with mine,
I sent my PCC with my main application
So it kills some time,

Any way keep in touch, as we both are in same boat now, good luck :D

I'm inland applicant and didn't send RCMP screening, fingerprint or anything related to security in Canada...

Would they request it??
