Whom did you contact or if you can shed more light on it.Ruby_Roller said:It only took about 3 weeks to get it confirmed. Just went onto Cic to do it online didn't need to submit any forms or anything special.

In my case, when I graduated from university I was given a post-grad work permit for like 8 months although I qualified for a longer one. This initial work permit matched the validity on my passport which was expiring in 8 months. Later, once passport was renewed I applied for an extension and was granted another 10 months or so. Today, Ill not be eligible for another extension. However, based on my research, the bridge open work permit would be an exception. Since Ive applied for PR through an Economic Class (PNP) then I would be able to obtain this and remain in Canada until immigration finalizes my application.tinacraigg said:Hi! thanks for the advice...well, my fbi is running to 8 weeks already..i dont know what happened......So BRIDGE OPEN WORK PERMIT" is the same as extension of work permit? ( sorry, im confuse)
i just received it also today... how are you gonna send the receipt? through email or mail?aircar said:Guys, I just received a request to pay RPRF, which I just did. The email came from CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca
"This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.
We wish to remind you at this time that your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding. You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.

Not sure about yours... But would suggest doing a bit of research and contacting CIC!
