Has anybody had their PR card expired while waiting for the oath ceremony? Please share your experience - did you have to renew it, or would the citizenship officer at the ceremony be okay with the expired card?

My PR card expires in 2 months, but I'm not confident that they would invite me for the ceremony before then. Any advice would be much appreciated :)

Hello Guys

I was international student in Canada and had IELTS 6 bands Academic in 2011. I did post graduation in full time course for 1 yr diploma. Has any of you used this as language proof?

Thanks J

I asked the test officer this question and she said it would be fine to bring you expired PR card.

Congrats Ell.Bee! Did you get to ask the interview officer how soon would you hear back about the timing of the ceremony?

I was too excited yesterday and forgot to ask this key question ...

You get the result at the beginning of your interview. They do not tell you which question you got wrong.

Thanks Stef ,

Important and urgent help needed Please, I just got a call identifying himself as canadian citizenship office and said that I donot need to bring in my kid for interview , that i have on 10th morning since my kid when applied was less than 15 yr and due to rule changes under 15 are no longer required to write the exam . I haven't recieved any email or letter.
Has any one received any such call , what if its a crank call

I would bring my child and a babysitter (family member) just in case it is true. That way nothing can happen.
