Reviving this thread! Looks like no one from March is getting any updates!! Are we freakin' cursed or what? It's been more than 5 months in a row, still no test invite! Wonder what's the hold up? What the heck IRCC? Wake the f**** up!!!

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 6, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 11, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on March 31, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on April 11, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 3, 2017 at 11:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

You got a test invite in 10 days. Some of us have been waiting 5 months just for that. Consider yourself lucky lol.

Nothing to be afraid of. You got DM and no letter that you have been refused. We were told in Vancouver oath invite will take between 3 and 5 months.

have u called them ??? did you ask for ATIP report ??? what did you do ???

A quick question, does one have to provide a birth certificate when applying for citizenship? I don't see anywhere if CIC requires it for citizenship application. However I do remember providing it for PR application.

Calling them is the most painful and useless thing a one can do, so you may forget that. However, I've obtained ATIP and the only thing that has been passed was Criminality, and everything else hasn't started yet.

I don't have any explanation for this and don't know how much more time is needed until they send me a test invite.
