Just wondering people are receiving AOR by e-mail or mail? They had received my application on Mar 13,2017. Few people already have received AOR with the same received date and few dont.

You should respond "yes" and put 2015 into the "Year" box.

My friend had a similar case and they did not process his application and returned without processing. Be applied after one year and indicated Yes and year 2015. He recently got his citizenship

the source of my information is the guide:
Section 2
Question 2
Have you applied for Canadian citizenship before? If yes, write the year when you last applied.

To me, "applied" means "application submitted to CIC" regardless of the result. The review of your package has been noted by CIC officers anyways.

Very curious what the arguments of the VIP member were, but if you want to keep them private I totally understand and respect that as well.

So I'm tracking my application delivery and I get this notification at 11:39am this morning:

"Business closed for the day. Item on hold for second delivery attempt."

The CPC is closed on a Thursday?

My only guess is that's 12:39 local time and the office is closed for lunch. Is the CPC this little podunk place with 1 person who takes an hour lunch?

I have the same problem on 16th March 2017 when my application was not delivered in 1st attempt by Purolator with message that delivery will be tried next business day. Later on status was changed to application delivered during later hours of the day.

I think the spring break impact is on CIC and they have limited staff.. They have taken around 4-5 days on average for AOR during first 2 weeks of March and applications delivered to them after 15th March 2017 are still without AOR receiving.

It was in another thread that I created. The thread name is.. "Incomplete Application.. Please help". It wasn't in private. I want to share the knowledge or discussions which will help everyone. So, not in private.

Also, I called the CIC contact center and asked the same question to them to find out and post here with the response so everyone can benefit.

The response by them was..
"Select 'NO' as the application is not processed and payment is refunded. CIC dont maintain the records in your name as you havent submitted complete application and your fee is refunded"...

Please share your thoughts on this so that we can bring the best outcome.
