Planning to send my application last week of March. :)

I actually just started reading the requirements (again after a year of waiting for the Bill C6 - long story!). Anyway, I am still waiting for my T4 from my previous employer but I have a question about the Language Proof. I took IELTS 2008 and from what I red, I can use it for my application.

My question is, would it be better if I take a newer one? I don't think I can get it any higher lol. Overall band is 7.5.

Reading - 9
Listening - 7.5
Speaking - 7
Writing - 6.5

Any suggestions? My Diploma and Transcript are both in English too. Thank you in advance.

your old IELTS..is valid.. if you still have a copy with you'
no need to improve..

You are just fine submitting with IELTS certificate copy from year 2008 and it will be accepted.
You have way more than minimum accepted score in each section.
No additional language proof is required.
But it's preferred to also submit copies of graduation certificate and transcripts.

Was your education in English language? If yes then you need to send the certificate/diploma copy.

My wife completed her high school diploma in the US. We can't find her high school diploma (does anyone keep that anymore?) but I do have a copy of her unopened transcripts. I'm hoping that's enough to satisfy the language requirement, but do you suggest also trying to track down a physical diploma?

How are you planning to mail your applications, with couriers? I was planning to use Canada Post express, says 4 days guaranteed, but most probably it goes to PO Box

if you use CP express.. it will send on the address and you will get the receiver signature as well..

Do I need to send it to courier address then? Not the one with PO Box?

Thanks. Post Office lady tried to convince me that the express mail had to go to PO box but I still addressed it to the courier address.

Sorry, could you guys clarify this bit for me? If you send by express post then it should be sent to this address:

Courier address
CPC-Sydney
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

But, if sent by regular mail then this address:

CPC-Sydney
P.O Box 12,000
Sydney, NS
B1P 7C2

Is that correct?

Hi.

I am sending my application package on March 1st, 2017 and I have a question about Proof of Language.

I've done Masters from England in year 2010 as as proof I'm attaching
- copy of my degree/certificate
- copy of transcript
- copy of assessment/equivalency of qualification from University of Toronto

Do you think that's enough?
