After I sent my application, I came across 2 question!

1) should I have sent color photocopies for documents (e.g. passport, ID cards)? I sent all in B&W.

2) Should we send translation of passport stamps? for some countries their enter/exit stamps are not in English!
I didn't send it as in checklist, it only asked for first page of passport which obviously doesn't have any stamps on it to be translated. But I heard from some, that they have sent translations along with their application.

No problem with b&w copies and you are not required to send copies of all the pages of passport so no question of translating stamps. That is requirement for PR renewal not citizenship application.

Surprisingly I have not received AOR yet. Maybe they will return it? Curious what mistake I have made.

My guess is that you should get the AOR this week..

A courier is a private service (like DHL, Purolator etc). Using their service, they can pick-up the package from your home or you can drop it off at one of their offices (no need to travel all the way to Nova Scotia yourself ...All details are usually on their websites

Canada Post is the "official" postal yourself and it has various degrees of speed (regular, express and Priority)...Priority is supposed to arrive in 2 business days but in my case it took almost 4 for some reason

If I will sent it through Canada post "PRIORITY" what address do I need to use?

Use the "Courier" address on the Document Checklist. Make sure you have the Oct-2016 version (will say so in bottom left corner).

Hi,

I sent my application on 13-03-2017 still not yet received.

I sent my family application via Purolator on 12th March 2017 and tracking status is shown below. Initially there was some delay due some bad weather in transit and now shipment is not delivered with status receiver unavailable.

I am not sure. Is it normal with CIC office to have no receiver?

its not usual. did u signed up for signature on delivery service.
