Received fingerprint request on April 13
They asked fingerprints probably because I have travelled 3 different countries during my residency in Canada .

When you apply as a family, do they give husband and wife separate file numbers? I don't understand this thing as we applied as a family but are given two different letters with our names respectively on it and with different file numbers. I appreciate your opinions.

Would you mind telling the span of the time period which you travelled, I mean was it less than or more than 6 months. Thanks.

Thanks for the update. What do you mean by Vancouver Office? i'm not too far in Langley BC and I have sent my application to Sydney NS. My application is in process since March 12th with no test invite yet. Some people take faster to get it? I'm new here btw :)

AS far as I understand it, Sydney forwards your application to your local office. Mine is very likely Vancouver, as well as I, live there. How fast your test invite will get to you depends on a lot of factors.
Mine is in process since the 4th of April but no test invitation yet.
Stef.
