Australia here :) It would be nice to hear something soon but not holding my breath. Though I did just log in and see my status was "Application/profile updated" before reverting back to 'Submitted'. First time there's being any indication of a change since June.

Nothing changed though - apparently that's called a ghost update.
Ghost update is good, shows they have opened your file for something.
Just checked my GCKey, I got FD today. Jumping for joy....now wait for portals.

Nice one! I checked and in the last few hours mine also went to that stage. Oddly, 'in progress' but it's nice to see movement anyway!

"Latest update:
Final decision - October 25, 2024: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

No other changes (messages, document, background check) yet but we'll see how that goes.

I know it's just Monday so still waiting on the P1 but Application Tracker just updated (still 'in progress') to say my background check was completed on the 25th, and it now shows the CoPR details :D

(No changes to GCKey yet)

It will come soon. Just monitor your email
Yeah, not worried about those coming through. Just nice to see movement :) Until now, my background check status had not changed to 'in progress' so I had a bit of worry it would take way longer.

Good to see that was just a flag not being set somewhere.

Hey J,
I had checked checked this morning to see if anything was new on Tracker, but nothing new. Seen you had made a post, and so I just went and checked again, and sure enough, same results as you. Everything the same on GCKey, but have the COPR Document details.
You are right about not hearing anything for awhile. Last communication that we had received had been the SA and AIP, which was 88 days ago, so seeing this movement is a bit exciting for sure.

To my fellow March inland applicants:

Our time has finally arrived......, we have all been through a very long and traumatic wait, but this is our time now. I know it has been stressful for some as they were asked for ADR, or maybe had to do an interview. Been stressful for others who might be on FB, and see outland applications being approved in "2 months 13 days". It's very frustrating when things like this happens, and puts a bit more worry in our steps, but that finish line is in sight now.

Those of us in the first few days of March are now getting out final decisions on GCKey and our COPR details on tracker. If you are a later March applicant, hold tight your time to hear something is in the near future. For those that are in the beginning of March and haven't heard anything as of yet, hopefully you will be hearing something any day now. We do have to remember this isn't a cookie cutter situation. Each and every application is different, as is each officer working on our applications.

We have all fought this battle, and just a few more hurdles to jump, be it will definitely
be worth this wait. Stand tall and stand proud, our PR cards will be here before we know it.

For those that have received the FD on GCKey and have received your COPR details on the tracker........ Congratulations!

For those still waiting....... It's on the way! Don't let go of hope now.

Yeah @AngelBear and @j_2024 that is a good sign. I didn't hear any update on my case at all from AIP and SA - eligibility stage back on Jan 30 and then 5 months later, I got Background Check marked "Completed" in PR tracker so yeah, I totally understand how you guys feel.

I hear you, pre-arrival was on July 26th, and SA and AIP was on August 1st....nothing after that, eligibility was and is still saying We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. HUH you already sent me my AIP so thought you had finished with my eligibility. LOL Background was saying your application is in process, but now that I have the FD, background now shows We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. This is on GCKey. Their system is not perfect in any way, but at least it gets us to the final destination. Tracker showed yesterday that background was completed along with the COPR details.

Our application started out a bit weird anyhow. People who had submitted around the same time were commenting that they had received AOR a few days to a couple of weeks after the submission. I received BIL the end of April, and MIL the first week of May. Still no AOR, so I was concerned, knowing that it was supposed to go to the sponsors email, did that get input on the application correctly? So I did contact IRCC via phone and webform to double check and to state we hadn't received the AOR, they said email was correct, and they sent the AOR to us on May 29th. Who knows maybe we were ones that weren't slated for the AOR. LOL Anyhow, things went "smoothly" after that. Lots of waiting and lots of patience needed, but getting these last few updates is well worth the wait. :)
