How do I know in which Office my application is being processed? I'm based off of Toronto.
There are a few ways, you can call IRCC and ask. You can request notes and it'll be there. The test/ oath invites will be from that office. So for me it is "West" office.

What happens if you get your oath invite while overseas? I guess you have no choice but to fly back? I have a trip planned for September for work and tourism. I am concerned about receiving the invite in the midst of my trip. Do you folks recommend I preemptively inform IRCC of my trip? This way my oath invite won't come during it, maybe?

I guess it depends on how long your trip is. Typically there is atleast few weeks between Oath invite and Ceremony. So if your trip is gonna be more than few weeks then it could be a problem. And also depends on how comfortable you are with the possible delays that'll come with letting them know/ postponing it.
"If I were you" I won't let them know beforehand because the timing might take care of itself. If you notify them they'll then tell you to let them know when you are back. So it's gonna cause some delay. How long? who knows answer to that question! When I applied I was planning for a trip in Oct/ Nov and was prepared to come back if I received oath when I was away.

If someone get citizenship test from Scarborough office and web query result from Montreal office, what will be his primary and secondary office then
I'll say go on with your trip and If you are still out when you get the ceremony date and can't make it back, then reply to the email that sends the oath invite... they usually will respond telling you to let them know when you get back into the country.
A friend did same. She received the oath invite the day she was to travel out. She emailed them informing them of her arrival date and they didn't respond but automatically rescheduled her for a date after her return date. She was initially worried they will reschedule her months after but the new date was just 2 or 3 weeks after the original scheduled date.
