March 2023 - Citizenship Applications

Hi All, today I saw in the tracker that they are asking for my fingerprints. But, I haven’t received any email about that yet. When can I expect the email to arrive? Does anyone here know? Thanks!

I also got one on 16th and then again on 18th just like you and this morning (20th), I see in the tracker that there is a request for fingerprints. Still waiting for the email.

Question for those who have taken the test, I took the test on May 19th but it is still showing up as "Waiting on you" on the portal. Is this normal?

Thanks for the reply. I'm expecting something similar, but so far, the tracker is not showing any change.

Exactly the same here - my tracker shows that it was the 18th, but I got the email on the 19th (before the tracker showed any update), and managed to find a place to get my prints done today, took about 10 minutes and was a super easy process, and it turned out that I didn't even need the Confirmation of Permanent Residence form which they'd requested on the PDF and I spent a good while trying to track down. :)

As an aside, during my search for paperwork, I was reminded that I had to go through the same Canadian fingerprints nonsense after my PR application too.
