BG is handled by the NS office. Test, interview, oath handled by the local office. People have even got RQ after the test. When your BG completes totally depends on how uncomplicated your BG really is and on your luck - how fast the people working on your file work on your file.
Then I'd expect BG to finish before they send my file to the local office no?

Hi all, received a Ghost update today, everything still in progress but application says "New Update" and Updated May 5th. So hoping for some more progress. My details are in my signature.

Finally got AOR a moment ago!!!

Type: Online application
Location: Pickering, ON
Physical Presence Days: 1105.5
Application: Single
Application sent: 15 Mar 2023
Delivered: 15 Mar 2023
AOR: 05 May 2023

Great news! Curious about 0.5 in your physical presence. The physical presence calculator only does full days. How did you get that 0.5?

Hello Everyone,

So we received our AORs on May 3rd, 2023 and I am able to login to the IRCC Citizenship Tracker today

I have a question, how do we know if the application is "In Progress/Ecas" (this is one of the Columns in the Forum's Citizenship Google Sheets tracker)?

When I login to IRCC's Citizenship Tracker I see that (at the top) it says "Your citizenship application status: In progress". Is this the same as "In Progress/Ecas" ? If yes, how do we determine the date when it went into "In Progress"?

If someone can please advise, I will then update my status and date in the Forum's Citizenship Google Sheets tracker.

Actually, the physical presence calculator does NOT only do full days. ;)

I applied for PR inland while I was here on a Visitor Visa. From the day I entered to the day I got my PR, minus a short trip to the US, was an odd number of days. Each of those days counted as a half day. As it was an odd number of days, I ended up with a .5 day.

I hope this was clear enough. :)

Good to know.

Yes, it is in progress. The date you were able to log in is the "In Progress/Ecas" date (you can also see the date in the tracker).
