After AOR, when to get the test request
First post in this thread has a link to a google spread sheet. Go check it through. It will give you an idea on timelines. Although, the strike put a bump in the road so they're probably not an accurate representation of timelines.

Recieved my AOR just now.
March 21, applicant - (Paper Application)
Daughter and Mom.

Type: Online application
Location: Salmon Arm BC
Physical Presence Days: 1119
Application: Single
Application sent: March 1st
Delivered: March 1st
AOR: March 17th
Fingerprint request May 3rd
Invite for citizenship test May 4th
Test scheduled May 10th to May 31st.

Admin could you please update spreadsheet.

I have also been invited for the test, but background verification is still in progress. Is this normal?
Same here. I guess the BG is delayed by the strike and we all have to give the test anyway, so they're scheduling tests in parallel?
Or it could just be an automated update on the system. It's all tentative till you receive the test invite email.

I hope the BG isn't forgotten due to the strike. Once they forget something, it takes forever to fix it.

BG is handled by the NS office. Test, interview, oath handled by the local office. People have even got RQ after the test. When your BG completes totally depends on how uncomplicated your BG really is and on your luck - how fast the people working on your file work on your file.
