Scarborough sends the email only 7-10 days before oath and the official "time to panic" is 6 working days before oath.

So expect your email around Oct 2nd to Oct 4th. The email is the only official confirmation of the oath date.

I don't think a call/webform/email will help because it looks like no further updates are expected for your file (except the oath email).

Hey guys, I have a question about ghost updates.
There is a 'Date Modified' line at the bottom of the online application page (not the tracker; the online application portal). If the date here changes, is it a ghost update?

So I’ve been sitting here frustrated by the lack of progress on my application and just waiting for any news and finally received my GCMS notes.

I found a section that reads:
Created Date: 2023/05/29
Updated Date: 2023/05/29
UCI #: XXXXXXXX
Family Name: XXXX
Given Name: XXXX
Type: CIT RCMP Screening
Status: Fingerprints Required

My question is this - they’ve never reached out asking for fingerprints and my application portal doesn’t show it either - where do I go from here? I don’t want to delay my application any further.

Just providing an update here for anyone that might be in the same position.

I called the IRCC call center the same day that I posted the above and spoke with an agent for about 20 minutes who took a look into the notes before finally coming back to the phone and telling me that I could essentially ignore that note and that if they needed anything that they would get in touch.

Today I heard the first update on my application since last June, requesting fingerprints.

So yeah, I would have loved to have submitted them earlier to speed the process along but I guess sometimes you have to have some patience and just let them get to your application as and when they're able to.

Admin, please update the spreadsheet: Fingerprint requested on September 21st.

I actually have been waiting for my LPP for over 3 months now and was deliberating whether to request the GCMS notes or just wait till they reach out to me.

From your case, it seems that even if the application was hanging on something (like fingerprints in your case), there isn't much you can do besides wait for THEM to contact YOU officially requesting them.
It's not like you could have sped the process by proactively sending them your finger prints.

I'm just getting more and more anxious and losing sleep coz it's now been over 3 months since I took the test and not heard from them or got any ghost or other update on my tracker

As per read above comments on Finger Print request,
We have 3 months and 5 days after Test. No updates
When came to Canada as a PR no fingerprint requirement at that time.
So, do we expect Fingerprint request from IRCC ? Anyone has same?
Will do GCMS today.
