I was also finally able to register on the new tracker. Shows application filled as April 14 which is the AOR date for me. I filed on march 14. Is it the same for everyone?

No, I believe that the date filed is unique to your own application timeline, I have a different one. Applied March 6 - AOR April 7.

I meant to say that my application was filled march 14 not April 14 as the online tracker.

Application filed date is the date that you received AOR and it’s same with everyone I think

Yeah, I meant to say that the date itself would be different based on your own application timeline, but Application Filed date is the date you receive AOR and the same principle would apply to all applicants.

Quick question in case anyone would know.

It seem that if applying online you can only use the new tracker system for your application progress, but is it possible to also check in ECAS (what we used to use for PR progress tracking)? However, I see people on the forum saying that they can check both trackers.

I tried using my application number, UCI, etc. with ECAS but without any luck.

I tried to track with ECAS after I had Application No, but it doesn't work.

Guys when will you start studying or preparing for the citizenship test?

It depends on the person. Discover Canada is a short book, but it is very dry read. Personally, I cannot read more than 10 pages a day. There is a lot of information that you have to digest. So, pace yourself as you have to go through a lot of questions. The more you read Discover Canada the better.

Thanks for starting this...

I'm not able to register and check the progress of my application yet. I guess I'll have to wait for a few days and try again.
I was finally able to register in the citizenship status check portal :)
