Latest update: I got an email from IRCC and checked IRCC portal to see an information letter which said -

Dear Strifer,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You and/or your dependent(s) must complete the following steps within 30 days in order to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa.


If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, you must inform IRCC immediately

Last time I called them, I have two of the three passed. But I never received any Ghost Update...
I feel GU is a good sign. Based on those whose AOR is this year and have received timely PPR, it seems they all have received GU before the decision.

The executive on call told me at last, all is cleared you should have a letter with instructions on next steps soon. It’s been a fortnight since then! Hehe

Just for reference none of my statuses on IRCC portal have been updated apart from my medicals and biometrics and I received PPR via IRCC. So do keep checking your IRCC portal to see if there are new messages. I did get an email from them stating a new message was sent.

I was actually surprised to see PPR on portal since my AOR was 24th March..processing time currently is 16 months but in our case it took us less than 6 months.

Just for reference none of my statuses on IRCC portal have been updated apart from my medicals and biometrics and I received PPR via IRCC. So do keep checking your IRCC portal to see if there are new messages. I did get an email from them stating a new message was sent.

Yes I did receive a GU couple weeks back.

Not sure what happened, I did upfront, but never got it passed before.

After talking to the same doctor and as my upfront medical are still valid, we conclude that it was ok to just upload the same documents again. And I got it now!

When did you submitted your re medical? IRCC sent me a ADR for medical on 16 August without any IME number. Deadline was 31august and I did medical on 17august .My medical clinic uploaded my medical on 22 but I got another letter with IME for medical on 8 September. My clinic said they can’t upload the medical again but x-ray lady is agreed to upload the same x-ray again.so I did medical again today. Just wanna know the timeline for medical updates because letter states to submit the medical in 30 days.
