My application was in Review Required status in Montreal VO.
Got a second update: IMM 008.

My application was in Review Required status in Montreal VO.

What? That does not make sense for a re-medical? You passed medicals in April and thats valid for an year right? Does that mean your medicals were done in April/May 2021?
I did medicals in12th August 2021. Was for my work permit application. And was stated as passed in April 2022 for PR.
Yup! Seems like that but I also think that application complexity also plays a role
Probably yes, but it's hard to say what IRCC's definition of complexity is. My application is super easy IMHO, but people with more recent AOR's are getting approved while I am still waiting...
I called IRCC today, my current status is
Background in progress, criminality check not started
My file has moved from Sydney to Vancouver.
I have received 2 ghost updates ( BIL and Eligibility Pass)
Only background is pending, any idea how long Vancouver takes to process background check?

I tried to call them. After the automatic part, the auto voice said the human assistants were busy then hung me up.
How did you get through?
Call +1-800-267-6788 (from Viber or another mobile app).
1- When you call, you'll first press 1 to select English.
2- You'll press 2 to be connected to IRCC
3- After that you'll be asked to press 1 to provide your UCI but press 2 that you don't have one.
- Press 2, meaning you don't have UCI (don't forget).
4- Immediately machine talk, press 340.
And then hold patiently

Not sure if it is due to this that the system can see I was calling from outside so applied a different rule to cut me off?

Security: In progress
Criminality: Passed
Eligibility: Passed
Medicals: Passed
Primary VO: CIO
Secondary VO: Montreal
The last time application was worked on - July 12 (GU2 was on July 11)
Also, the agent told me that the current processing time is 17 months and the expected completion date is August 2023 (LOL)

Guys just now i got another Ghost update : Application Updated
But once again when i go in, no change everything is same since day 1
What you see may not reflect the real state.
The eligibility in my profile is shown as "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." while it is actually passed.
I just got an update from IRCC to pay the RPRF for my application since I had not paid for the same initially. I have two individuals in the application my spouse and myself. I paid the RPRF fee together for both of us that is $1030 but when I went on the portal to upload the receipt I see two documents being requested for (I believe thats RPRF for me and for my spouse). Can I upload the same receipt twice since I paid it in one go?
