I have received around 4-5 ghost updates but it hasn't lead to any change in the application. Are ghost updates significant or is it just due to bugs in the website?

My wife applied for her study permit (non-sds) from Pakistan on 20 april and biometrics 26th april. She was single at the time.
We got married on 10 june.
Her medical was accepted 22 june. She hasn't informed ircc yet about the marriage. We are still waiting for the official marriage certificate but hopefully should have it within a week.
I work in canada (pgwp) and returned couple days back to canada. Any advice on whether we should immediately inform ircc about our marriage or wait until obtaining marriage certificate or pursue any other course of action?
Also, how would this potentially affect her application?

I have seen a PPR for the Student who have applied on 27th March, He got PPR on 21st June.
I have applied on 29th March and medical passed on 19th June, still waiting for the decision. Applied in Non-SDS, got medical request on 19th May.
Where did you apply from and which university/ program?
I applied on 3 March...no decision yet.
The website says they're finalizing applications between March 14 - March 20. Judging by this, you should have received the decision by now. How far along the process are you?

Similarly, I also got BVL on 11th may. No update. Frustrating to see new files are getting PPR
