Oh ok! I didn't fail the test as I got the temporary unofficial score of 20/20 but had trouble with taking picture of my photo ID. Hopefully they have approved my test.

Btw, did the guys who got status of test completed fail their test (got below 15/20) or they had other problems like me? Nonetheless, I'll definitely keep you guys posted.
Both, but hopefully yours was accepted!!! :)

Hi, I have one more query related to the test. While taking the picture of my photo id, I had to stand and take the picture as it was clearly stated that face shouldn't be visible. Though my face wasn't visible at all, some part of me like my t-shirt was visible. Would that be ok?

I applied since March 4, no confirmation email no AOR. Nobody knows exactly, everyone is just giving assumptions. How do they send the AOR, is it via the application portal or a direct email? I'm planning to submit a paper application and include a printout of my online application.

I team, my application reached mar 4. since then i have not received any communication. What should i do.
At least I've seen one person in same situation. Any update from your end? I applied since March 4 (online), no confirmation email, no AOR. Nobody knows exactly, everyone is just giving assumptions. How do they send the AOR, is it via the application portal or a direct email? I've tried calling, there's no option to speak to an agent unless it's one of the Afghanistan issues. I've sent webforms and only got generic responses. They say they will only respond to Afghanistan enquires. I'm planning to submit a paper application and include a printout of my online application.

Is there a local office in Windsor and are they served from office in Toronto ??

So my fiance and I applied online and have both received our AOR. Nothing after that. We want to get married soon, and she is thinking of changing her name. We were born in different countries. On their system we are seen an common law partners.

I just got off the phone with IRCC. The person I spoke with stated that if she changes her name after the application is approved then it will take a long time to get her name changed on the citizenship certificate (>16 months). If it does take that long, then if at the mean time she uses the Canadian passport (with her maiden name) would that be allowed?

Or I was thinking that if we get married right after we take our citizenship test then submit for a name change for her it would expedite the process. Does anyone know if that would be allowed? Or is there a better option? We really want to get married but not delay the process of either application.

Hello all,

I got my test invite today (test window Oct 5th to Oct 25th).
Also in the invite was a request for a scan of all pages of my passports and travel documents from the past 5 years.

Question: I have a US visa that is still valid, and it is in an older passport. Does that count as a travel document?
Also, does the PR card count as a travel document that needs scanning?

I have added the information to the spreadsheet!!! You should have received the test invite today or tomorrow as the latest, if not please call IRCC to verify they have the correct email address for you. Do you have a representative? If yes then the representative may have received the test invitation. You can try to log in to the citizenship test tomorrow and see if you have access directly. https://ct-tc.apps.cic.gc.ca/?lang=en

Is your BG still in progress? if so you may be required to provide FP, but will need to wait to receive the information from IRCC.

Please keep us posted.

US Visa allows you to enter to the USA, I think you should probably provide copies of that. I am not sure about the full passport and will let others comment as I have not reached this step yet.

You don't need to provide copies of the PR, they have all the information about that document in your Immigration file.
