I did it several days ago.
I was requested to send full passport copies in the email. During the interview, the officer asked me to show PR card/Passport, and additional ID. It took about 10 min. Quick and easy.
The status in tracker was updated 1 day after the interview.
Do you guys have any idea what may have prompted the interview request? I have one scheduled for the 18th of May, 2022, and it's stressing me out.

My family and I have been scheduled for oath of ceremony on June 20th. Profile updated on May 12th.

Hello everyone,
My husband's online thing was updated on May 6th with everything being completed except Oath Ceremony. any idea how long it might take for him to get the invitation for the oat ceremony?
Also the email address that he got his test invitation from is: IRCC.DNPNTCITScheduling-PlanificationCITPTNRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Any idea which processing centre is this ^?

Thanks so much!!

Hi everyone!!

(Even though everything is being done online, you have to be physically in Canada in order to take the Oath of Citizenship. IRCC will ask you to confirm your location before you can participate in the ceremony. If you are not physically in Canada, you may have to do the citizenship ceremony once you are back in the country.) And if you lie about your location , a officer will know during the two week period that they are checking every applicant, to send the certificate

On top of points mentioned, I think you need to cut PR card during the ceremony, and you can't go back to Canada without a PR card. I don't think you can apply visa at this stage either.

but I'm curious if anyone has done oath successfully outside of Canada, despite you shouldn't by all means.
I don't mean to lie to CIC, but to tell them honestly you are outside of Canada due to some valid reason.
