I was in Toronto when I sent my application in Mar 2020. But I moved to Brantford in April this year which might have slowed down the process as my file was moved from Scarborough office to Hamilton office before my test invation came in Aug. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hey Quick Question - Which document can be shown as a proof of citizenship before the arrival of the actual citizenship certificate.
I am done with my oath, portal says you are a canadian citizenship.

My USA employer needs a proof, or shall i just tell them to wait.?

It took 3.5 months for oath invite from the day of DM for me. Can depend from case to case, some people got as early as a month, for some it crossed 4 months.

I will try and get it expedited so I can see my parents for Christmas, but if not, it's good to know what kind of timeline I'm looking at. Thank you!

One piece of advice. Calgary's fastest processing passport centre (accepts walk-ins, I did!) is at 23 Sunpark Dr SE #120, Calgary, AB T2X 3V1.

They can expedite super rush passport processing too.

I requested urgent processing to the agent and she said it would be OK but so far have not received it and worried about my travel plans next week.

Try contacting IRCC asap to check if it has been printed at least because in process normally means they havent printed or sent it out yet unless they forgot to change the status. I suggest you reach out to them immediately to check if they have sent it out. You can also send an email to the same address that you sent your oath signature to get a faster response.

Just curious..is there any other March applicant still waiting for the citizenship test? My application seems to be forgotten in the middle of nowhere, the last update was Apr 14, and I don't think I fit into the non-routine category

Thank you for letting me know! I was just going to go to the Harry Hays building, but the location you mentioned is probably less busy and has parking. I even used to live like 10 minutes away from there haha. I appreciate the info!

Hi everyone, Im new in this site. My ECAS is at DM (04-05-2021) and i have all status on COMPLETED except for the Citizenship ceremony (Not Started). This was last updated on Nov 23. Any idea what's next? Thanks
