Citizenship oath activity status updated - Oct. 5, 2021
Scheduled for Citizenship oath - Oct. 18, 2021

Finally, Saskatoon is now working.

Here's my timeline below:
Language Skills - Completed (July 2, 2021)
Physical presence - Completed (July 2, 2021)
Citizenship test - Completed (April 23, 2021)
Background verification - Completed (Jan 20, 2021)
Prohibitions - Completed (July 2, 2021)
Citizenship ceremony - In progress (scheduled on October 18, 2021)

My PR card expiring mid-october. I did not renew it when i got my DM on citizenship on 21 July, i thought i ll get an oath invite in max 2 months. But now its been 2 and half months. Did i make a mistake?
What would be my options to travel outside Canada after mid october, lets say in case of some rare family emergency back home.
Please advise.

As suggested, i emailed the local MP's office. MP office got back with two forms which i need to fill (consent to release of information). Should i fill them? Would it help? Or they will just get back with a standard reply?

MP office already mentioned in the email that IRCC does not guarantee a response time because of high volume.

Yes, I had the same. Those are the forms required by the MP's office to connect with IRCC. They can't ask IRCC to process faster, but they can give you some info like what exactly they are doing now with your app. I don't think you will get this info by calling IRCC. So, you can give a try.

Finished my oath ceremony from Montreal a little bit ago. Sent in my affirmation of oath form back too. Are we supposed to get a reply back? or just expect Citizenship certificate in about 4 weeks

Hello,

Hope all is well! I am March 2020 applicant. I got FP request on March 1st week 2021, I did and sent to them. Then Only background check completed on May 2021 second week. Nothing changed after that, which is ridiculous!!!!

My query is , do you think they received my FP or didn’t receive the FP?

What should I do in this case?? It’s getting too much now!! Please experts help/advise me. Thank you for your time.

Hello,

I passed my test last week. In the test invitation email they also asked to send scanned copies of all pages of passport for the eligibility period. They asked to send by replying the invitation email. I already sent email. Usually we received an automated reply for sending any email. In this case i did not received any automated email that they received the email. Is this normal? If any one experienced anything like this? Any idea how can i confirmed that they received the email. Thanks all
