March 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Hey everyone!
Great to see people's applications moving along, tests and oaths being completed over the past few weeks.
Location: Burlington, ON
I sent in my application in early March 2020.
AOR: Oct 2020
In Process: Nov 2020
Background Verification Completed: Apr 23, 2021
All others: In Process

I'm also finding out that a BUNCH of people who applied AFTER me are done with their oaths and tests, and it's super frustrating.
I got my local MP to get me some updates back in April 2020 and she just sent me the 'in process please wait' cookie-cutter response from IRCC.

I just called the CPC/IRCC number and they refused to give me any update as they are apparently only prioritizing urgent applications including Afghan refugee ones so got no help there either.

Any hope, any advice, anything?

Hey, even our last updated date is the same, April 23rd. I am in the exact same boat as you, background verification completed, everything else is in progress, I'd say don't worry too much, and there is very little we can do at this point besides waiting.

And I lived in Oakville, I guess we got assigned to the same officer

Would you please explain what does the "Decision Made date ecas estimate" on the xls sheet mean?

I noticed on online status check after my interview the Language, Background and Pysical presence status have been updated to completed on September 1, does it mean the decision is made ?

So, I attended the ceremony and received my citizen certificate. Today I received a request letter to provide a scan for my passport and travel document to continue my application…??? What is IRCC doing omg

They can change it. Such cases have already been reported on this forum. Unless you've received an official invitation from IRCC, nothing is solid.

Last update on my application was on 29th July.. everything says completed except Oath is "Not started", anyone with same timeline and still waiting for their oath date?
