One of my colleagues in office has this timeline -

Application sent in Feb 2020
Returned in April 2020 citing incomplete
Sent again in May 2020
AOR in September 2020
BG Completed in Jan 2021
Test invite in April 2021
Test completed in April 2021
DM last week
Scheduled for oath in August 2021

This is just crazy and insane. Some haven't got tests while others got it. This is so random now.

Some cic officer thinks that late 2020 applicants filed earlier than first quarter 2020 applicants.
These cic people dont have any sense or not having any thoughtful mind in working. No respect/importance for the people applied early.

They just come. They pick up few files and take one of them and threw the rest and working on it randomly.

Imagine how come people at end of 2020 gets test invite when people at early 2020 not completed(the worst is some are still waiting for test and rest waiting for other steps)

Please post an update once you receive the test invite email and once after taking the test.

You'll receive an email a couple of days before the test start date.

I received the test invite email on July 21, 2021....to test between July 23 and August 13, 2021. The email also asked for scanned/PDF copies of my passports/travel documents. I am emailing those into the Edmonton IRCC office either today or tomorrow.

BTW, the status changed to completed for the Citizenship test (JUL 21,2021). Calgary office.
