March 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Well, true I agree with that logic but for MOST applicants, that is not how the workflow has been working. This is the third case for a "Brampton" resident whose workflow appears to be "out of the norm". It is interesting that only Brampton residents (the only other exception are applicants from Quebec) are seeing this type of workflow - Everywhere else, Physical Presence, Prohibitions and Language are set to "Complete" AFTER the test at the time of DM.

Any updates on Ottawa applications ? Im thinking to change my address. Seems quebecua wants to make me suffer more.

Not in Nova Scotia, passed the test in April, all of them still shows as In Progress, no update since April 23rd.

Updating my wife's timeline. Her application never showed up in ecas though, even after multiple calls w/agents and submitting webforms.

I am in the same boat as you 2 are. My status turned to interview required with date June 23 on June 22, But no email. After that I have not received any further communication from them. I have raised a service ticket after trying to get hold of them through call.

Have you guys received any update on your file.

This is so strange. This is the third report I'm seeing for applicants of Brampton where Physical Presence, Prohibitions and Language are set to completed even before taking the test. But that's good!

After your test is set to "Completed", you might see a "Decision Made" status on ECAS.

Thanks! It will come a week before actual ceremony, so no yet. Status is in progress indeed.

I just received the reply to my web form submission which includes the following and I am not sure about what they actually mean.

"We're currently prioritizing applications from people who are exempt from travel restrictions."

Just ignore their response. Dont interpret as there is no meaning in what they reply - their reply doesnt reflect current statuses of application or the processing office.

I agree. I am waiting for my GCMS notes as well. Hope that will give some info on my file. I am one of the applicants that have their BG check completed on April 23rd and then nothing else.
